  • Alias: CD5 antigen (p56-62)

  • CD5 molecular target review

The CD5 molecule is a glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 67 kD. It consists of an extracellular region of 347 amino acids and an intracellular region of 93 amino acids. It belongs to a cysteine-rich scavenger receptor family. It is expressed in mature T cells and a small number of normal B cells. CD5 antigen-positive T lymphocytes have signal transduction functions, while CD5 antigen-positive B lymphocytes, in addition to their immune functions, are also closely related to the occurrence of diseases.
