Usage Process
- Prepare Deionized Water: Take a clean 500mL or larger beaker and accurately measure 500mL of deionized water into the beaker;
- Add Buffer Tablet: Tear open the package of 1 Tris-MOPS-SDS Running Buffer Tablet and pour the entire tablet into the deionized water;
- Stir to Dissolve: Use a magnetic stirrer or glass rod to gently stir the solution until all particles are completely dissolved. No heating or pH adjustment is required;
- Transfer to Electrophoresis Tank: Carefully pour the prepared electrophoresis buffer into the upper and lower chambers of the electrophoresis tank, ensuring the liquid level reaches the appropriate height;
- Perform Electrophoresis: Install the precast gel and protein samples, and perform electrophoresis according to standard procedures. Recommended constant voltage: 200V, electrophoresis time: approximately 40 minutes;
- Subsequent Experiments: After electrophoresis is complete, proceed with membrane transfer, staining or other subsequent experimental operations.
Tip: Prepared electrophoresis buffer can be stored at 2-8°C for 1 month and reused 2-3 times. Do not use if the solution becomes cloudy or precipitates appear.
