NRP2 molecular target information overview
Overview of NRP2 molecular targets
Neuropilin-2 (NRP2) is encoded by the NRP2 gene in humans, and the encoded product is a member of the neuropilin family of receptor proteins. This transmembrane protein binds to SEMA3C and SEMA3F proteins and interacts with vascular growth factor (VEGF). NRP2 plays a role in cardiovascular development, axon guidance, and tumorigenesis. This gene also has multiple transcript variants that encode different isoforms.
